A Note From the Series Creator

"The Atonement series is a project that I am so passionate about bringing to life. My inspiration comes from a childhood memory of witnessing the aftermath of domestic violence, which led to my earlier work, the 2008 short film “Death of a Drunk”.

The Atonement series aims to delve deeper into the intricacies of intimate partner violence, shedding light on the profound aspects of battered woman syndrome, trauma, and mental health.

I look forward to creating an impactful series that will lead to ongoing conversations about healing, safety planning, and active support for victims of domestic violence. I am eager to continue my journey in bringing this meaningful project to fruition.”
